Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Vast ("the Service"), operated by Vast Technologies, Inc. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Vast provides code architecture visualization tools. You may use the Service to analyze repositories and infrastructure files you own or have permission to analyze. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the repositories you import.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Vast to analyze repositories you don't have permission to access. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service. You may not use the Service in ways that violate applicable law.
4. Your data
You retain ownership of your repositories and code. By using the Service, you grant Vast a limited license to process your repository data for the sole purpose of providing the visualization and analysis features. We do not claim ownership of your code or your graphs.
5. Free and paid tiers
The Free tier is provided as-is with usage limits described on the Pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, release updates, or temporarily suspend the Service. We will provide notice for planned downtime where possible.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time from the Settings page.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vast is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you by email and via the app before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
